Misunderstanding of electrostatic powder coating line 4
Mistake 4: mistakenly think that the powder sprayed by the spray gun has low transparency and large intuitive feeling concentration.
 
 
 
Problem analysis:
 
 
 
The spray gun with good charging performance can charge enough electrostatic charge to the powder particles, so as to obtain enough electrostatic repulsion force between the powder particles, so that the powder particles do not stick after leaving the spray gun, showing a very good atomization state, from the side, it will feel that the powder is uniform and transparent, resulting in the illusion of "less powder". However, the powder ejected from the spray gun with poor charging performance does not have enough electrostatic repulsion force between the powder particles, the powder particles are conglutinated in pieces, and the atomization effect is not good. From the side of the spray gun, the powder ejected has low transparency, which often causes the illusion of "more powder".
 
 
 
Practice has proved that when the same powder supply quantity (the same set of powder supply facilities, the same air pressure conditions, the same box of powder) is used to supply powder to the spray guns with different charging performance, the powder sprayed from the spray guns with poor charging performance has low transparency from the side, and the powder concentration is intuitively felt to be high; while the powder sprayed from the spray guns with good charging performance has high transparency from the side, and the concentration is intuitively felt to be low.
 
 
 
Therefore, for two spray guns with the same powder output, the better the charging performance is, the better the powder atomization is, and the higher the transparency of side observation is, but not for one spray gun with low transparency and high intuitive concentration.
